Fire-Rated Facade Systems
Protecting Lives & Property With
Overview
Tested and certified to protect critical building zones
Fire-rated façades are engineered to contain fire, prevent its spread, and safeguard vital building areas while maintaining the intended architectural design. These systems integrate specialized glazing, framing, insulation, and sealing technologies that ensure both structural integrity and compartmentalization under extreme conditions.
The Fire-Rated Façade Division delivers fully tested and certified façade, door, window, and curtain wall assemblies that meet international standards including EN 13501, ASTM E119, UL 263, and BS 476. Each system undergoes full-scale testing to verify fire resistance, structural stability, and insulation performance.
Through close collaboration with global partners such as Forster and Vetrotech, complete fire-protection solutions are developed — combining steel or aluminium framing systems, fire-resistant glass units, and intumescent sealing components for reliable performance across all critical zones.
All solutions are produced under ISO 9001-certified quality management, ensuring traceability, precision, and consistent compliance from design to installation.
International Certifications
& Standards Compliance
Rigorous testing &
independent validation
Every fire-rated system undergoes extensive laboratory testing and third-party validation at internationally accredited facilities to ensure absolute conformity with global safety standards.
Performance is verified for fire resistance (integrity and insulation), thermal stability, and pressure resistance using EN 1364, EN 1634, ASTM E119, and UL 263 protocols. Each assembly is exposed to controlled furnace tests, hose-stream evaluations, and radiant heat assessments, replicating real fire conditions.
Only systems that meet or exceed the prescribed classification criteria — EI30, EI60, or EI120 — are certified for installation. This rigorous process guarantees reliable containment, occupant safety, and long-term compliance across all project environments.

Fire Resistance Performance Categories
Engineered protection levels designed
to meet specific performance criteria
Integrity (E)
Prevents flame and hot gas penetration, maintaining structural barrier integrity under fire conditions.
Applications: Non-critical areas, secondary barriers
Integrity & Reduced Radiation (EW)
Combines flame resistance with limited heat radiation transmission for enhanced occupant protection.
Applications: Escape routes, public spaces
Integrity & Insulation (EI)
Maximum protection combining flame resistance with thermal insulation for complete fire barrier performance.
Applications: Critical areas, fire compartments
Fire Resistance Duration & Performance
Proven performance standards
Our fire-rated systems deliver certified protection across multiple time intervals, from basic 30-minute integrity to advanced 120-minute full protection systems.
Standard Performance Range:
- E30: 30 minutes integrity protection
- EW60: 60 minutes integrity with radiation control
- EI90: 90 minutes full protection
- EI120: 120 minutes maximum protection
Custom Solutions Available: Higher performance values and specialized configurations can be engineered for project-specific requirements.
