Scope of work: The project involves the design, supply, manufacture, and installation of key architectural components, including 40,283 sqm of Aluminium Stick Curtain Wall, 15,141 sqm of Aluminium Stick Back Panel, 9,121 sqm of Aluminium Stick T-Mullion Curtain Wall, 24,976 sqm of Balcony Glass Balustrade, and 25,514 sqm of Aluminium Fins.

Wind Load Resistance Testing

The doors are tested for wind load resistance according to BS EN 12211:2016, with wind load pressures up to 2750 Pascal and a maximum allowed deflection of L/175 along the vertical frame, ensuring structural integrity under extreme conditions.

Cyclic Static Air Pressure and Water Penetration

The sliding doors undergo Cyclic Static Air Pressure Difference – Water Penetration Tests, with a pressurized chamber up to 450 Pascal, ensuring their performance under fluctuating air pressure conditions.

Water Tightness Testing

Water tightness is rigorously tested following Method 2A, BS EN 1027:2016, with a peak test pressure of 600 Pascal, guaranteeing resistance to water ingress under various environmental conditions.

Air Permeability Testing

The sliding doors meet air permeability standards of BS EN 1026:2016, tested with a differential pressure of 600 Pascal, ensuring airtightness and energy efficiency.

Sliding Door Specifications

The project incorporates sliding doors with a height of 3m and a width of 7m, tested according to ISO/IEC 17025 by a certified test laboratory, ensuring top-tier performance and durability.

Façade Design Philosophy

The Royal Atlantis uses minimal aluminium profiles with high load-bearing capacity to seamlessly connect interior spaces with the outdoor environment, offering nature views and a modern aesthetic.
