What began in 1968 as a small glass and trading company has grown into a global facade powerhouse. With roots in the UAE and the spirit of a family-owned business, Al Abbar has spent over five decades pushing the boundaries of design, engineering, and innovation – building a legacy iconic structures around the globe.
Our History
The Al Abbar journey began in 1986, following the successful completion of the aluminium and glazing works for Al Wasl Hospital. Recognizing the potential of the growing façade market, the founders established a dedicated aluminium division – a step that marked the beginning of what would become one of the region’s most respected façade engineering companies.
Soon after, Al Abbar Aluminium earned a landmark contract to deliver high-security glazing for the Diwan (Parliament) of the Ruler of Dubai, setting new benchmarks in craftsmanship and precision.
As word of Al Abbar’s quality and reliability spread across networks of architects, consultants, and clients, the demand for its services surged – paving the way for expansion and diversification.
The Making of Al Abbar Group
To meet this growing demand, specialised divisions were established, evolving into what is now known as the Al Abbar Group – a fully integrated collective of businesses excelling in aluminium curtain walls, architectural glass, coatings, and stainless steel fabrication.
Each division operates independently yet collaborates seamlessly, ensuring innovation, quality, and design excellence are embedded in every project.
